Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Version 1.0 · Effective Date: Website Launch Date

1. Introduction

This Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability Policy explains the limitations applicable to the use of products, services, website content, documentation, and other materials provided by Ar Design Ideas (ADI).

This Policy should be read together with the Terms of Service, Software License Agreement (EULA), and other documents forming part of the ADI Customer Trust Center.

2. General Disclaimer

ADI develops digital tools intended to improve productivity, consistency, and efficiency within Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows.

Although every reasonable effort is made to develop reliable products and maintain accurate documentation, no software can guarantee perfect results in every project, computing environment, or workflow.

All products are therefore provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

3. No Professional Design Responsibility

ADI software assists qualified professionals.

It does not replace:

  • professional judgement;
  • architectural review;
  • engineering review;
  • quality assurance procedures;
  • statutory approvals;
  • regulatory compliance reviews;
  • project management decisions;
  • independent professional verification.

The responsibility for every project remains solely with the project team.

4. Verification of Outputs

Customers are responsible for independently reviewing and verifying all outputs produced by ADI software before relying upon them.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • model data;
  • schedules;
  • quantities;
  • validation reports;
  • clash reports;
  • dimensions;
  • documentation;
  • drawing sheets;
  • exported files;
  • project parameters.

Software-generated information should always be reviewed by appropriately qualified personnel.

5. BIM and Regulatory Compliance

Some ADI products assist users in validating BIM models against user-defined standards, project requirements, or regulatory criteria.

Such tools are intended to support review processes only.

Successful completion of a validation process does not constitute certification, statutory approval, code compliance, or acceptance by any authority having jurisdiction.

Users remain responsible for confirming compliance with all applicable project requirements, regulations, standards, and governing authorities.

6. Project Backups

Customers should always create appropriate backups before:

  • installing software;
  • updating software;
  • executing automation tools;
  • modifying project data;
  • running batch operations.

ADI shall not be responsible for any loss resulting from failure to maintain suitable backups.

7. Software Compatibility

Compatibility information published by ADI applies only to the software versions specifically identified for each product.

ADI does not guarantee compatibility with:

  • future software releases;
  • beta software;
  • unsupported operating systems;
  • modified software environments;
  • third-party add-ins;
  • custom project environments.

8. Performance

Software performance depends upon numerous factors beyond ADI's control, including:

  • project size;
  • model complexity;
  • linked models;
  • computer hardware;
  • operating system;
  • installed software;
  • available system resources;
  • network performance.

Execution times and behaviour may therefore vary between users and projects.

9. Third-Party Software

Many ADI products integrate with third-party software including Autodesk® Revit®, Dynamo, Microsoft® Excel, and related technologies.

Those products remain the property of their respective owners.

ADI is an independent software developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with Autodesk or any other third-party software vendor unless expressly stated.
