Refund & Support Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective Date: Website Launch Date

1. Introduction

This Refund & Support Policy explains the support services provided by Ar Design Ideas (ADI) and the circumstances under which refunds may be considered.

This Policy should be read together with the Terms of Service and Software License Agreement (EULA).

2. Nature of Our Products

ADI primarily supplies digital products including software applications, BIM automation tools, documentation, templates, and related digital resources delivered electronically.

Because digital products are delivered immediately after purchase and cannot normally be returned, refunds are handled differently from physical products.

3. Refund Policy

ADI believes in treating customers fairly while protecting the intellectual property contained within its digital products.

Refund requests are therefore considered on a case-by-case basis.

Submitting a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval.

4. License Key Delivery Guarantee

Upon successful payment, ADI aims to deliver your personal BIX License Key by email within 48 hours.

If you do not receive your License Key within 48 hours of a successful payment, you are entitled to a full refund. To request this, contact ADI at the email address below with your order confirmation. ADI will either deliver a working License Key promptly, or process your refund if unable to do so.

This is a guaranteed refund right and is separate from the discretionary, case-by-case refund review described elsewhere in this Policy.

5. Refund Requests

Customers may contact ADI regarding a refund request if they believe exceptional circumstances exist.

Each request will be reviewed individually based on the specific circumstances presented.

Supporting information may be requested before a decision is made.

6. Refunds Normally Not Available

Refunds will normally not be provided where:

  • the product has been successfully downloaded or delivered;
  • the customer no longer requires the product;
  • the customer changes their mind after purchase;
  • the customer purchases the wrong product after reviewing the published product information;
  • the customer purchases a product that is clearly marked as incompatible with their software environment;
  • dissatisfaction results from requirements or expectations not described in the published product information.

7. Duplicate Purchases

If a customer accidentally purchases the same product more than once, ADI may, at its sole discretion, review the circumstances and determine an appropriate resolution.

Customers should contact ADI as soon as reasonably possible after identifying the duplicate purchase.

8. Subscription Products

Where products are offered through subscription licensing, refunds, renewals, cancellations, and access periods shall be governed by the subscription terms applicable to that product.

Cancellation of future renewals does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund for services already provided.

9. Product Delivery

Digital products are normally delivered electronically after successful payment.

If a customer experiences difficulty accessing a purchased product, ADI will make reasonable efforts to assist in resolving the issue. See Section 4 for the guaranteed refund right applicable to delayed License Key delivery.

10. Technical Support

ADI provides reasonable technical support for purchased products.

Support is primarily intended to help customers:

  • install products;
  • activate licensed software;
  • understand documented functionality;
  • resolve reproducible software issues;
  • clarify product documentation.

11. Support Period

Reasonable technical support is generally available for at least ninety (90) days following purchase.

Where genuine product issues continue beyond this period, ADI may continue to provide assistance at its discretion.

Support availability may vary depending on the age and status of the product.

12. Support Channels

Support is currently provided primarily through email.

Support requests should be sent to:

adibimthinker@gmail.com

Customers are encouraged to include:

  • product name;
  • software version;
  • Revit version where applicable;
  • operating environment;
  • clear description of the issue;
  • screenshots where appropriate;
  • error messages;
  • steps required to reproduce the issue.

Providing complete information helps reduce response time.

13. Installation Assistance

Each product is intended to include appropriate installation guidance, documentation, and, where available, demonstration videos.

Customers are encouraged to review the supplied documentation before requesting support.

14. What Support Does Not Include

Unless separately agreed in writing, technical support does not include:

  • BIM modelling services;
  • project-specific consulting;
  • customization of products;
  • development of new features;
  • workflow design;
  • office implementation;
  • data migration;
  • remote modelling services;
  • training services.

These services may be available separately under a consultancy agreement.

15. Remote Assistance

Where a support issue cannot reasonably be resolved through email, ADI may offer remote assistance.

Remote support is provided solely at ADI's discretion and may be subject to separate commercial arrangements depending upon the complexity of the issue.

16. Software Updates

Minor bug fixes may be provided without additional charge where applicable.

Major product releases or significant feature upgrades may require a separate purchase or subscription.

Availability of updates is described in the applicable product information.

17. Customer Responsibilities

To assist efficient support, customers are responsible for:

  • maintaining appropriate project backups;
  • installing supported software versions;
  • reviewing supplied documentation;
  • reporting issues accurately;
  • providing sufficient information to reproduce reported problems;
  • maintaining valid licensing where applicable.

18. Product Compatibility

Customers are responsible for confirming software compatibility before purchase.

Compatibility information published on the website should be reviewed carefully.

ADI cannot guarantee compatibility with unsupported software versions, beta releases, modified installations, or third-party add-ins.

19. Limitation of Support

ADI will make reasonable efforts to assist customers.

However, support does not guarantee:

  • immediate resolution;
  • compatibility with every project;
  • compatibility with future software releases;
  • implementation of requested enhancements;
  • uninterrupted availability of support services.

20. Changes to This Policy

ADI may revise this Refund & Support Policy from time to time to reflect improvements in products, support processes, legal requirements, or business practices.

The latest published version supersedes previous versions from its Effective Date.
